Anand Ranganathan speaks to economist and columnist TCA Srinivasa Raghavan about demonetisation, economic policy and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Raghavan is currently working on a book titled Dialogue of the Deaf. It covers the history of RBI, its decisions as well as the extent of autonomy and independence. He and Ranganathan also discuss the demonetisation announcement and why the RBI has been under the lens in recent months.
